We work with a lot of businesses about how to promote a new product, website, service, or get organic traffic. Trends have come and gone since we started this in 2001. Right now we sincerely believe that video promotions are taking over. If you search for any popular term you can see right away that Google wants to promote videos in their search. Here is an example of how Google adds YouTube video and news videos to search results now.

As you can see to the image to the right there is several videos from sites all over the web in the top stores spot. They also added the YouTube top video embedded into the results list a little lower. There is no question the benefits of search results for videos is staggering with Google.

So the question is how do you get a great looking video? We found a company here that has some of the best looking smart commercial style videos we have seen.

Here is the latest three videos that all look great:

In fact we have never seen such professional clever video options at this price point. These are truly TV quality videos.

You can always, buy a $1000 camera and lens and hire actors and sets. We have thought about it! It just doesn’t stack up with the quality you can get from sites like 13way for around $100.

Once you get a great video made make sure and submit it to more than just Youtube. Some other popular video share sites are:

  • funnyordie.com
  • vimeo.com
  • dailymotion.com
  • howcast.com (Great for self help videos)

Make sure and pre-decide your keywords and use them in the title and description. This can be factored more than the keyword section on the video site sometimes. A general rule of thumb for video keywords is three terms. Terms can also be more than one word. Once you have a great video and the keywords are set. Start sharing it and create some buzz!

Good luck and happy video marketing.
